COVID-19 Protocol - Remaining open to help our customers
During these uncertain times, Smart Clean understands that many of our customers have questions about our services and the steps we are taking to ensure their safety and that of our employees. We've updated our cleaning processes and safety protocol to keep your home and business cleaner and healthier.
As standard all our cleaning products include a virucidal disinfectant which deactivates enveloped viruses including Coronavirus / COVID-19.
Below are the latest updates on what we are doing at Smart Clean to ensure your safety and to do our part in attempting to contain the spread of this illness:
1. New Cleaning Product:
Smart Clean has introduced a new cleaning product into all of our carpet and upholstery cleaning processes. As standard all our cleaning products include a Virucidal disinfectant which deactivates enveloped viruses including Coronavirus / COVID-19.
2. Equipment Disinfection Protocol:
We also have enhanced our Equipment Disinfection Protocol All cleaning equipment is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after every job for the health and safety of our employees and to limit any risk of transfer. This process is repeated at the end of each workday along with a complete cleaning and disinfection of our service vehicles.
3. Employee Training & Personal Protective Equipment:
We have trained our employees on maintaining appropriate social distance throughout the workday and the critical importance of personal hygiene with a specific emphasis on handwashing before and after all jobs. We also provide our employees with the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”) so they can perform their work safely and with confidence.
4. Emergency Paid Sick Leave:
We have also instructed all employees to remain home if they are sick or feeling ill or showing symptoms, if they are unwell we will pay them to stay home.
